About Us

Since 2004, Mike Deston has gained decades of experience in finish carpentry, cabinet making, kitchen and baths projects, trim work, solid surface countertops, project management, outdoor kitchens, and cabinet sales. A family man, originally from Massachusetts, Mike enjoys the Floridian beaches and visiting the mountains of Puerto Rico.

At Mike Deston Carpentry, we specialize in designing, building and installing a variety of projects involving carpentry and cabinetry. We draft our own kitchen drawings. We serve commercial and residential clients all over Northeast Florida including Greater Jacksonville, Saint Augustine, and Ponte Vedra.

Mike Deston was recommended by the company that I ordered the new set from. Thank goodness that I selected him. Mike and Rico came prepared with all the tools. Both were timely, and most importantly PROFESSIONAL. Along the way he explained what they were doing. My cabinets were installed on schedule, and look great!  No damages. After the install request was copleted, I sat in awe of my kitchen the remainder of the day. I will be calling him for future projects in the home.

After having to get major work done in my kitchen due to water damage, I was pointed in Mike's direction for cabinetry. From my 1st encounter with him, Mike was extremely helpful and kind. He provided plenty of options and listened to exactly what i wanted. He made what could've been an extended frustrating experience so easy. On top of Mike being great, his crew came in, completed the work, and left my home clean and my kitchen ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.
